Step 1: Get nice and comfy!
Find a cozy spot with reliable WiFi coverage and settle in. This should take about 15 minutes*.
*If you are porting your number, it can take anywhere from 2-4 hours for your number to become fully active.
Step 2: Download CPFS Mobile’s app and sign in .
The login information will be the same account you created at the start of the sign-up process.
Step 3: Click on Activate Now and confirm your device is unlocked.
Before you activate, we want to make sure you’ve verified your phone is unlocked and compatible with the CPFS Mobile network.
Step 4: Confirm your device details.
Double check your IMEI is entered correctly and hit Next.
Step 5: Scan the barcode on the back of the SIM card.
Locate your Welcome Kit, take out that SIM card, and flip the card around to scan the back.
Bringing your phone number over to CPFS Mobile (aka porting)? Be sure to enter your current carrier account information! This includes your account number with them, the PIN either created when you first signed up with them or generated as a transfer PIN, and your billing zip code. Then click Next.
Starting fresh with a new phone number? Scroll down to the bottom of your mobile screen and click Next.
Step 6: Give your information one more glance over.
Looks good? Click on Activate.
It can take anywhere from five minutes to two hours for your line to become active on CPFS Mobile. This depends on whether you are porting or getting a new number.
We’ll notify you when you’re active on CPFS Mobile through a push notification via your app as well as an email. Now you can go ahead and pop in your SIM!
